KC RiverFest: July 4 |

Richard Berkley Riverfront Park
Since 2005, KCRiverFest has been recognized as Kansas City's premier Independence Day Festival. Located on the Missouri Riverfront at beautiful Berkley Park, KC Riverfest isthe only place in downtown Kansas City to celebrate the Fourth of July with fireworks, food and family entertainment.
FREE admission from 1:00-3:00pm. Regular priced adult tickets are $5 at the gate (cash only), but may be purchased online for $4 at www.KCRiverFest.com. Children age 12 and under are admitted free of charge.
Reserved paid parking is available on the grounds for the duration of the festival. A continuously running free shuttle is available at the following locations: 3rd and Grand Avenue, 5th and Grand Avenue, 7th and Grand Avenue.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair to these fun, free evenings in Hyde Park (36th & Gillham). Featuring great movies, fun entertainment, neat prizes and fantastic refreshments! Concerts and educational activities begin at 7:30pm; movies at 8:30pm.

Join Northland Neighborhoods Inc. and The Wheel Cyclery for the 2nd Annual Hot Trot 5K Run/Walk and Family Fun Festival. Festivities will begin at 5:00pm and the 5K will begin at 7:00pm. Brush Creek Art Walk: July 27, 28 & 29

Brush Creek Trails
Roanoke Parkway to Elmwood
The public is invited to come out and walk the newly completed, nearly 4-miles of walkways along Brush Creek while musicians play and painters paint. Plein-Air Painters will have three days to complete paintings on-site along the creek. Artists will enter their finished paintings for a chance to show in the Gallery of Art at UMKC in an exhibition starting August 23. All artists are welcome. There is a $25 registration fee for artists.
