IMPI 2010 awards logoNow that is what I'm talking about and if you attended the IMPI in Wonderland Annual Awards, you might know what I am talking about too.  What a great event.  Thanks again to Emilie, Jaime, and the committee for an awesome job.  The attention to detail was amazing.  A few months ago the board gave the Awards Committee a challenge to step this event up.  As industry leaders, we felt we need to lead the charge on fabulous events.  "Wow" - did they ever respond.

This is just a preview as what I would like the entire year to be as I take on the challenge to be your 2010-2011 President.

I am excited about the opportunity to be your IMPI President.  I believe in this organization and want to make it the best I can for all of you.  I know we all continue to experience tough times so creating a value and promoting "Buy MPI" is what it's all about!  I hope to have positive communication with all members to keep you informed as to what the board is doing for the chapter to ensure we are giving you what you want.  The board is here for you, this is your organization.

This year we are committed to high levels of education and great networking.  Of course, I can't forget the golf outing - we changed it to September this year and will be doing an education event in the morning prior to the outing to promote involvement.  It will be September 16th at the Wood Wind Golf Club.  More to come on this in the upcoming weeks, but this is just one example of how we plan to shake things up this year!

As I move into this new role, please let me know your thoughts so we can work to improve IMPI together.

Thank you for trusting me to guide this great chapter as we grow into the future and make a difference in our industry!
