Summer Break Study Tips

No one enjoys the warm weather more than a student
on summer break. Who can resist days at the beach,
hanging out with friends, staying up late and sleeping
in? Many parents wonder if anything can be done
during the summer to prepare students for the
upcoming school year.
Here are a few suggestions:
- Sign up for summer reading programs at your
local public library.
- Give your child interesting reading materials and
workbooks appropriate to their grade level.
- Tutors are available in the summer. They can
provide your child with an individualized probram that
is fun, interesting, and challenging.

Tutor of the Year

Once again we would like to give special recognition
to Blair Yochim for his outstanding work as a tutor.
Blair tutored 585 hours in 2007 for secondary Science,
Math, Chemistry and Physics. Blair consistently
received outstanding feedback from students.
Blair was awarded Tutor of the Year in 2006 as well.
