| Shannon Campbell & Lance Clifford Take the W.E. Rock USA National Championship |
W.E Rock came to Hannibal, Missouri this weekend for the 2008 Grand Nationals. Champions from the Eastern, Western and Regional Series came together to compete for the 2008 title. The 2008 Off Road Expo in Pomona California is a one-of-a-kind event. Expected to draw over 50 thousand people this year. | "Put A Cap On It" Are Differential Covers Really Worth The Money? |
Differential covers have come a long way in the past few years. From LED lights to Clear Acrylic windows, covers are a way to personalize your differential. But are they more? Think about your basic cardboard shipping box. When tapped up, it can hold a hundred pounds of performance goodies securely for your car or truck. Cut the top off the same box and the structural integrity is gone. How many times have we picked up a box in the garage and had it fold-up in our hands? A differential housing is almost the same and that open cardboard box, stock steel covers add some structural strength, but many aftermarket covers can greatly improve on that stock foundation. "Capping Off" your housing can give you the following advantages: Prolong the life of your bearings & ring & pinion, Increased oil capacity for additional cooling, Reducing the flex of the entire housing, Better oil filler location and powerful magnets to trap debris. Diff Covers can be installed in an hour. You simply remove the old cover and allow all the oil to drain, clean and prep the gasket surface, then bolt it on. So are they really worth the added cost? Well, when you add up all the benefits, Performance Differential Covers may be the most cost effective way to gain added durability and longevity in a bolt-on package.

| Recipies to make summer last a little longer |
We got this one from John in Colorado. He says it's a guaranteed "kick in the ass burger" for any
back-yard event.
Ingredients:
2 pounds lean ground beef
1/2 pound HOT, ground italian sausage
1 medium onion, chopped fine
5 cloves of garlic, chopped fine
2 jalapeņo peppers, chopped fine
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 Tablespoon Brown Mustard
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 Tablespoon coarse black pepper
1 teaspoons coarse salt
Combine ground beef, sausage, chopped onion' salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic, jalapeno peppers, mustard and Worcestershire sauce in large bowl. Using hands, mix until all ingredients are fully blended. Add grated cheddar cheese and fold into mixture until cheese is evenly distributed, but do not over mix. Best to let mixture sit in a covered container inside refrigerator for 24 hours to let flavors fully marry, but can be used immediately if you just can't wait. Form into 4 to 5 meaty burgers and grill on a high until done. Serve on toasted buns and enjoy!
Drink with: John recomends an ice cold Hefe-Weizen / Wheat Beer with lemon or orange to put out the fire.........
