I may have lost my mind, but...
I thought I'd try anyway. Some of you may remember, several years ago, we held an auction to clear out the end of season inventory. It was only a modest success, at least from my point of view, largely because of the threat of a hurricane that day. Still, there are times when we just want to move product out to make room for the new. Now that I have mentally entered the 20th century, I thought we would employ some 21st century technology to try to achieve the same end. We've opened an Ebay store with a few interesting specimens and we hope to add more. If you have been contemplating a fall landscape project, this might be a great way for you to get started on it. Click the link below to enter our "Store." Bid early and often and Thanks!

If you are contemplating a
landscape project
and are thinking of waiting until Spring, think again! I know I've been telling you for seventeen years that fall is the best time for planting, but still so many people don't take advantage of this great opportunity. I know we're all motivated to plant in the spring after a long dreary winter, but planting now will help your plants to be ready to take off when spring arrives. Plants are much happier being handled now, and they benefit from cool air temperatures to conserve water, while having warm soil temperatures to promote root growth. If you're worried about your plants dying over the winter you can rest
easy, because Clark Farms provides you with a 100% satisfaction
guarantee. Take advantage of this great time and talk to Mark in our landscape department about getting your project done now. Plant now and you can relax all winter knowing spring flowers are already getting comfortable in your beds.

In case you were wondering,
fall festival is still on at our new farm in Matunuck. We've even added a couple of new activities as time has allowed to make it even more fun for the kids. I'm not exaggerating when I say that some families have spent several hours taking in the sights and enjoying the activities. The biggest hit this weekend wasn't the hayride or the petting zoo, it was Sue's hot caramel apples made to order, while you wait.
We've also entertained several school field trips from as far away as Warwick and are now hosting birthday parties as well. The positive response has been overwhelming and, I must say, gratifying after all of this work! Thanks to all who have shared their thoughts with us.
