It has taken a while...
But the wait was worth it. We've been operating our Wakefield store for 17 years now and while we've sold a lot of flowers, we lack the space to do anything really interesting. When we bought our new farm in 2006, we had chosen it more because of the location than the quality of the farm land itself. We've been picking rocks ever since, but finally we are seeing the fruits of our labor. While many people thought we were crazy and some even told me so, things are finally starting to turn around. I think now that we finally have our farm, we've been able to do some really interesting things.
Starting September 12th, we will be having our first ever harvest festival, the way I always thought it should be, simple, natural and entertaining. As a special offer for our email list customers, we are inviting you to come out this Labor Day weekend, September 5, 6, and 7th, to get a sneak preview of what's in store for the rest of general public at a significantly reduced rate. We've got RI's first Sunflower Maze, our newly expanded farm animal education area, our butterfly house is full of caterpillars, cocoons, and beautiful monarchs, and we've got a great display of fall plants and decorations to start your fall off right.
Fall
is one of the best times of year to be on a farm. The harvest season
is full of great things to look at and great things to eat.
Stop in and see sunflowers while they still look great.

If you haven't already heard...
Besides the fact that fall is the best time to be planting, this weekend we have all trees, shrubs and selected perennials at 30% off. And you can choose any single item at 30% off as well. The only restriction is you are limited to just one. It could be that bird bath, fountain or beautiful pot you've been spying, or anything else at all. The sale is good at both of our locations through Monday September 7th. There are still lots of great plants to choose from including our last five Franklinia trees which are in bloom right now. Stop in and see.
