kolleenI never do this, but...

I'm told there's a recession going on.  I'm sure you all know that last week was our big perennial sale and I know you all came out.  But I also know you bought a little less than you had wanted to, so I'm giving you another chance to add on to your garden.  I hope you noticed how much better our perennials look this year.  One big change at our greenhouses this year was that we put Kolleen in charge of the perennial production department.  This is the first time in 17 years we had someone working exclusively on the perennials.   Well, what a difference a little attention makes.  Stop in and see for yourself.  Just tell the cashier "Kolleen said I could have the sale price for one more weekend" and we'll extend you last week's deal, buy 2 get one free, now through Sunday at 5:00pm.

It's still not too late!.

I hate to complain.  But, if you hadn't noticed, it's been a little wet and a little less than sunny lately.  I know this has kept some of you out of the garden and out of our store.  But there is still time!  We made special provisions this year to have extra-large veggies to help you catch up and a new crop of herbs is ready including all your favorite staples, like basil and rosemary.   We've got a few more of our jumbo beefsteak tomato plants left that have tomatoes on them already and some are nearly as big as a tennis ball.  There are only about 20 left, so hurry in.

basketNobody beats our quality!

A couple of customers have mentioned to me that they'd been stopping at all of the local garden centers and they really thought our plants were the best they had seen after all of this rain.  One of the benefits of owning the biggest greenhouse in RI is that you have plenty of storage space.  We're starting to bring them out into the sun and they're looking great and ready to go.  And yes, I was crushed to hear you were looking at other peoples plants at all, (even if they were ugly.)
Thanks for gahhdening with us!!
