What's the first real sign of Spring?

Ground hogs and robins are nice, but the first sure sign of spring is opening day at Clark Farms!
We've been planning and planting all winter to be ready for you.  Visit our ever improving web site to see some of what we've been doing and stop in for the first sights and scents of Spring.  Things to look forward to include a vastly expanded vegetable department, a new supply of organic seeds, some really cool and useful tools and our new demonstration patio that we built so you can learn how you can expand your own living space into the great outdoors.  Officially, the doors open this Friday at 9:00 so stop in!

There's More!

Finally!  Our new farm on Route 1 in Matunuck will be opening this Spring.  It's the biggest and best greenhouse in all of Rhode Island!  There will be more flowers and plants than you've ever seen before and all kinds of fun new experiences for the whole family.  After three years of preparation, we're almost ready for the unveiling and as a member of our email club, you'll be the first to be invited, so stay tuned for more details!!

What can I plant now?  Pansies!

Our pansies are cold tolerant and ready for your garden.  They're available in packs or bowls to bring a taste of Spring to your yard.  Speaking of the tastes of spring, did you know pansies are edible?  Try some pansy flowers as a garnish on your next salad!
