Business Continuity
Tip Be Ready in the New Year
It's a new year. It's a time for new beginnings and new opportunities.
Everyone is optimistic and motivated to achieve new goals. But what would
happen if a winter storm knocked out power to your building? What would you
do if your staff were struck with an illness? How would you react if your
office was burglarized and your equipment stolen?
Take some time at the
beginning of this new year to answer questions like these. Create a disaster
recovery plan so that interruptions and disasters don't slow you down
—
and so that you always stay safe and prepared.

HTS office is closed January 27th for company retreat
I wanted to let you know that on Friday, January 27th, Heartland Technology Solutions will be closed for our annual company retreat in Kansas City. This Friday-Saturday event is our only opportunity to gather the entire company in one location for updates, education and planning.
Our
Client Care Team have rearranged schedules so that there are no planned service visits on Friday. However, our managed services desk will still be in place for remote monitoring and services for our
WorryFree clients. We have also staffed the phone lines so
that we can help with emergency needs that you might have or
be able to take your message. If there are other folks in your organization that might need this info, I would appreciate it if you can forward this
newsletter to them.
Thanks so much for your understanding about this slight interruption in our daily schedule. The retreat is an important part of our overall mission to continue to improve our service to you through highly trained engineers and a salesforce up to speed on the most efficient ways to increase the productivity of your network.
