Misunderstandings, Conflict, War... In a world of turmoil and unrest, United Muslim Foundation participates hand in hand with other organizations in grassroots dialogues and outreach to clarify misconceptions about Islam and lend a hand to those in need. It is only by our active effort making a positive difference in the world we live, that we can achieve peace. And it is only through helping one another and working together that we can ever hope for understanding.

    May God be with you.

Successful Dialogue on Shias, Sunnis and Politics in Iraq

United Muslim Foundation was proud to be a co- sponsor of this first and fantastic Independent Viewpoints event that brought together dynamic speakers like Noam Chomsky, Salma Yaqoob and others to the platform to discuss the all too pertinent issue of the dire need for understanding and unity between Shias and Sunnis and the current politics playing out in Iraq.

The event was attended by many, from all religions and cultures who expressed interest and concern on the current situation in Iraq and had questions on how to bridge the gap between Shias and Sunnis. UMF also hosted a booth and provided transportation to members from the Pennsylvania area who really enjoyed the event.

United Muslim Foundation, The Qunoot Foundation, EPIC and other organizations joined hands and worked together to help make this event successful while Democracy Now! and Bridges TV were at hand to record the event which will be airing in the near future insha-Allah.
