Join the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts in celebrating the recipients of the 2008 RISCA Fellowship Awards during our Artists Reception, Tuesday, February 5 from 5-9:00 PM.
The gallery will feature work by David Allyn, Eamon Brown, Jesse Burke, Liz Collins, Kevin Cunningham, Thomas Doran, Sam Duket, Steven Easton, Stephen Fisher, Jennifer Kodis, Lloyd Martin, Daniel Talbot, and Arley-Rose Torsone. Video installations will feature the works of choreographers Nathan Andary and Melody Ruffin Ward. Music by Music Composition Fellowship recipients Gerald M Shapiro and Nina Ott can be heard at listening stations in the gallery.

. . .with Musical Performances by Folk Arts Fellowship Recipients
Join RISCA on Friday, February 15 from 6:30 - 8:00 PM for the Fellowship Writers Night, when literature Fellowship Award Winners will read from their most recent works.
The Fellowship Writers Night will include readings by Nehassaiu DeGannes, Sarah Madsen, Brian Sousa, and a performance by playwright Bruce Reilly. This year we are also pleased to present musical performances by the recipients of RISCA's Fellowship in Folk Arts - Karl Dennis and Jose Fernandes.

The film Night on Friday, February 22 from 7-9:00 PM will feature works by Matt Brinkman & Xander Marro, Kendall Moore, and Ju-Pong Lin. Audience members will have the opportunity to have a dialogue with Fellowship filmmakers. A second screening (only) of the Fellowship Films will take place on Saturday, February 23 2:00 - 4:00 PM.
