Greetings! RISCA is pleased to announce two new "calls to artists" for public art projects in Rhode Island.
The first call is for the Rhode Island Youth Development Facility. The deadline for this project is August 10, 2007. $23,000 has been allocated for a public art program at the new Rhode
Island Youth Development Facility. It is an open call to all visual artists living and working in the six
New England states and New York.
 The second call is for the T.F. Green Airport Terminal Improvement Project. A total of up to $487,500 has been designated for the acquisition of
interior public art for this project. It is open to all visual artists. The deadline for this project is August 20, 2007.
The Rhode Island State Council on the Arts is a state
agency, supported by appropriations from the Rhode Island General Assembly and
grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. RISCA provides grants, technical assistance
and staff support to arts organizations and artists, schools, community
centers, social service organizations and local governments to bring the arts
