Greetings!
Spring is technically here, but if you're in New England - it's still cold! It's been long winter and I for one will be happy to see it over. I haven't written in a while. As some know, my dear Father, Bob Merrill, passed away in late January and the newsletter took a backseat to family time. Dad was a wonderful man, a friend to many and strong role model. I wrote about him here, if you'd like to read a little about the man who inspired my love of beautiful interiors and the value of doing things the right way.
Launching on April 1st is a new relationship with the website Divine Caroline. I'll be writing a series of MoenŽ sponsored articles on Kitchen and Bath design - so I invite you to visit and check it out!
And, also on April 1st, bloggers around the country will be participating in April Food Day - Bloggers Fighting Hunger. So, please, stop on by and help us all make a difference right here in America.
Finally, I am currently hosting a book giveaway on the blog. Click here to learn more!
Best,
Linda
PS: If you or someone you knows would like to reach out to over 20,000
monthly readers - from design enthusiasts to professional designers and
the media - let me know. I offer sponsorship placement on my blogs and
newsletter. If you run an online business or service - it could be
right for you!

Trend Watch ::Surroundings:: contributing writer Susan Schultz has been making the rounds of the international furniture and design fairs and has been reporting back.

At IMM Cologne Germany, "Cautious optimism" seemed to be the key phrase.
Everyone-the show producers, the exhibitors and the attendees-seemed to
be pleased that traffic was only slightly down, overall exhibitors were
only slightly fewer, etc. It did feel as if many of the exhibitors had
cut back on their product introductions, but there were still so many
great new pieces to oogle over. Read on here.
At Maison et Objet, Paris, it's all about passion. The home has become, now more than ever, a safety value that leaves us
dreaming of better living. In its modest, intimate way, that place for
experimenting with change consoles us with anti-gloom remedies. There
is no miracle solution. But all kinds of creation, know-how and
technologies, colors and whimsy, elegance and quality of life are
distilling a new positive energy. Read on here.
