Greetings!
What is it about September? It's busy and, as we all know, pretty crazy right now. While things in our world are feeling pretty slippery right now and we're not sure about very personal matters such as our home values and retirement accounts, we can still revel in the beauty of nature (always free!) and the nest of a comfortable home. Whether we're in an apartment, condo or house - our homes are our refuge from the storm. Don't forget to bring in some beauty - a bouquet of flowers, a pumpkin or even a new frame for a family photo. Enjoy the small beauties and comforts of life - they fortify us as we face the big things.
Best,
Linda
PS: If you or someone you knows would like to reach out to over 20,000
monthly readers - from design enthusiasts to professional designers and
the media - let me know. I offer sponsorship placement on my blogs and
newsletter. If you run an online business or service - it could be
right for you!

Boston Condo Sneak Peak A Back Bay stunner with a view
OK, so the markets are all over the place and we're all walking on pins and needles at the moment. But life does have to go on as well and I wanted to share with you this lovely Back Bay Boston condo that is currently on the market.

My friend and client Rob has recently listed this penthouse stunner. With views of the Esplanade, the Charles River and the occasional super model and her currently hobbled quarterback boyfriend (right next door!) this is a great place.

For those who don't know, this means that the vendor only sells to designers or other similar design trade professionals. ::Surroundings:: Contributing writers
Last month I mentioned that I was taking on contributing bloggers to add new views and content to ::Surroundings::. I've been so honored that so many experts were interested in being part of my team. Here are the first three contributors with more to come!
Lori Dolnick writes on products and appliances, including green issues and has an upcoming post on Feng Shui.
Janet M. Perry writes on budget conscious decorating and home renovations from a very personal view point. George Evans writes on antique and vintage furnishings and general decorating styles and trends.
