Transition to Annual Membership Schedule
The World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) is now requiring expiration dates on all WTC membership cards and we will therefore transition to a calendar membership year. Membership renewals throughout this year will be pro-rated, and new members will be charged a pro-rated fee for their first year.
Membership cards allow you to access the services of our sister World Trade Centers around the globe at reduced rates. Services range from seminars and networking events to using video conferencing, Internet access, temporary office space, meeting rooms and more. Check the WTCA website for a listing of World Trade Centers. | |

Governor Corbett Leads Trade Mission to Europe
Governor Tom Corbett and Secretary of the PA Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED), C. Alan Walker will lead a delegation of Pennsylvania business leaders on a trade mission to France and Germany in March 2012. This mission is a unique opportunity for Pennsylvania-based companies interested in expanding their international business in two of Europe's top markets, considering that PA companies sold more than $2.1 billion worth of goods to buyers in France and Germany last year.
The mission is privately funded and organized by the Team Pennsylvania Foundation. It will focus on connecting PA companies with potential export partners and also on encouraging international businesses to invest in the Commonwealth. Dates for the trade mission are March 18 - 24, 2012 and the participation fee is $3,000 for small- and medium-sized companies (under 250 employees) and $5,000 for larger companies and universities. Please download the mission invitation for more details and registration information, or contact Lindsay Michael at the Team PA Foundation: 717-233-1375, or lmichael@teampa.com. |

WTCA Winter Meeting
Melissa and Tina attended the World Trade Centers Association member meeting in New York City in December. Over 150 participants representing 61 World Trade Centers from 26 countries attended the three-day event. Seminar topics focused on different aspects of running a successful World Trade Center and delivering valuable services to our members. The opportunity to learn from each other and to engage in further dialogue on important issues is one of the most useful aspects of this event and we were fortunate to be able to participate. |
