FTA Tariff Tool:
This new online tariff tool highlights the benefits of free trade agreements for US companies by consolidating tariff schedules down to a simple search function. This tool allows users to see the current and future tariffs applied to their products, as well as the date on which those products become duty free. Check it out:

Online Tariff Database:
CUSTOMS Info is offering free access to Global Tariff information for users of Export.Gov, which is managed by the International Trade Administration. Users of this free service can lookup country tariff information for shipments originating in the United States. You will have to register for access to this free service. All that is required is a valid email address and registration is quick and easy.

Celebrating 20 Years on December 1st

Event Recap: PoolPak International Tour 
We continued our "Innovation and Trade" company tours with a visit to York based PoolPak International in October.
PoolPak International manufacturers a full line of dehumidification systems designed for indoor pool applications. Their systems are used in large athletic pools, natatoriums in schools and universities, commercial pools and hotel/motel leisure pools throughout the world. Gannett Fleming Expands into Toronto
Gannett Fleming is pleased to announce the opening of its Toronto, Ontario, office, effective Oct. 1, 2011. The Toronto office will serve as the main hub for Gannett Fleming's operations in Canada. Ongoing projects include transit design for the Toronto Transit Commission, a border Port of Entry Transportation Study for the Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation Department, and GIS consulting for the Canadian National Railway Company in Montreal, Quebec.

PA Pavilion at Fancy Food Show Planned
We are partnering with the PA Center for Trade Development in organizing a Pennsylvania booth at the Summer Fancy Food Show, held from June 17-19, 2012 in Washington, DC.
In preparation for this event, the WTC became a member of the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade(NASFT). NASFT is an international organization composed of domestic and foreign manufacturers, importers, distributors, brokers, retailers, restaurateurs, caterers and others in the specialty foods business. The organization has more than 2,900 current member companies throughout the U.S. and overseas. Special thanks to WTC member food companies who served as references for our membership. |

UPCOMING PA TRADE MISSIONS AND TRADE SHOWS
February 5: Bangalore India Bio 2012
The PA Center for Trade Development is offering 7 booth spaces at the Bangalore India Bio trade show; cost for each booth is only $800. This is India's biggest event attracting participants from biotech, pharma and allied industries, leading research institutes and all the major biotech states of India. Deadline for registration is December 23, 2011.
February 22: Trade Mission to South Africa
The PA Center for Trade Development is organizing a trade mission to South Africa from Feb. 22 - March 2, 2012, with stops in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town. Registration cost is $750 plus travel and business related expenses and the registration deadline is January 20.
March 4: Trade Mission to New Zealand and Australia Pennsylvania's Center for Trade Development invites you to join them on a business development mission to Australia & New Zealand. One-on-one meetings will be scheduled for participants in Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland from March 4 - 13, 2012. Participation fee is $750 plus travel and business related expenses.
June 12-14, 2012: Global Petroleum Show
Pennsylvania's Center for Trade Development invites you to join them at the Global Petroleum Show from June 12-14, 2012. Only 12 spaces are available and registration deadline is March 1.
