  • It's not too late to sign up for our full day "Export Documentation" seminar. Learn about all the aspects of properly completing your export paperwork, from Incoterms, to legal and shipping documentation, from proper classification under the harmonized tarrif system, to AES filings and freight rates.   • Randy in India

    Randy Campbell, WTC Board Chair and President of Campbell Trade Group, Inc. was one of the keynote speakers at the recent World Free Zones Convention, held in Hyderabad, India on December 9 and 10, 2009. Randy is the former Executive Director of the National Association of Foreign Trade Zones and is also the administrator of FTZ147, central Pennsylvania's foreign trade zone.

  • Congratulations to MANTEC, Inc. for being selected nationally as one of the 2010 Best NonProfit Organizations to Work for. Not only did MANTEC earn this distinction, but they made it to the top of the list for the "small non-profit" category! The annual list of the nation's Best NonProfits was created by The NonProfit Times and Best Companies Group.

  • PA's Overseas Trade Reps Visit Region on March 18
  • We will be hosting 14 of the State's trade representatives on March 18 at the Inn at Reading, in Reading PA. This is your opportunity to meet individually with PA trade representatives from the following countries: Australia, France, Germany, India, Israel, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, Russia,Singapore, Spain, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.
    A luncheon program focusing on "Opportunities in India", followed by a dessert reception will also be offered, giving you the chance to network with other companies and the overseas trade representatives.

  • Low Cost Opportunity to Exhibit at the Hannover Industrial Fair
  • Some exhibit space is still available in the American Business Center at the Hannover Industrial Fair, which will be held in Germany from April 19 - 23, 2010. This year's theme is "Efficiency - Innovation - Sustainability".
    The U.S. Commercial Service has organized an American Business Center in the Energy Hall of the Hannover Industrial Fair, and will have exhibit space for a limited number of Pennsylvania companies for only $1,000.   • Partner Event: "Understanding the World" Series
  • A new series of events will provide current information on significant global issues, with the first several programs highlighting the Middle East. International House Harrisburg and Harrisburg University, with support from regional partners like the WTC, are organizing this current event series. Programs are free and are offered the last Thursday of every month at Harrisburg University, located at 4th and Market Streets in Harrisburg. Networking time starts at 5:30 p.m., the program will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. Presentations include a panel discussion and a Q&A session.

  • Our annual International Trade Conference will be held on May 27 at the Radisson Penn Harris in Camp Hill, PA.
