Long time trade program manager Kristin Bookhamer has left our organization to pursue new challenges. She had been with the World Trade Center for 10 years and her leaving certainly creates a void. Please be patient with us during this period of transition. We extend our best wishes to Kristin in her future endeavors.

Elsner Engineering Works will welcome World Trade Center members for a luncheon roundtable and tour of their facility in Hanover on August 20, from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
The roundtable discussion will focus on successes and challenges in the global marketplace. Register early, as reservations are limited to 25 WTC members. A special thank you to Elsner Engineering Works for hosting this event!

We will be hosting Pennsylvania Overseas Trade Representatives for the annual "Bringing the World to YOU!" event on Monday, September 14 at the HACC Campus in Gettysburg, PA. A breakfast program will be followed by one-on-one appointments with the trade representatives. Please note that the Commonwealth's budget may influence this event and registrants will be kept apprised of any changes. Mark your calendars now - more information will be coming soon. Elsner Engineering Works, a long time member of the WTC of Central PA, is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2009.

Knouse Foods Company is pleased to announce that it is celebrating 60 years in business. Their Lucky Leaf brand of applesauce as well as pie fillings have been a staple to many generations.

Anuga is largest trade show for the Food & Beverage Industry in the world and will be held in Cologne, Germany, from October 10 - 14, 2009. Join us at the State Capitol on October 13 to rally on behalf of international trade success in the State of Pennsylvania.
This trade rally is part of TradeRoots, spearheaded by the US Chamber. We are working together with the US Chamber, the Pennsylvania Chamber, regional partners and WTC members on the TradeRoots PA initiative to educate the business community, elected officials and the general public about the importance of international trade in all aspects of the economy.
