  • Foreign Trade Zone Seminar
  • On January 27 the World Trade Center of Central Pennsylvania will be hosting a full day seminar dealing with the economic advantages that can be achieved through the foreign-trade zones program. Our speakers will provide an overview of foreign-trade zones as well as operational information for companies evaluating the potential use of a foreign-trade zone. Topics include inventory control, record keeping and reporting requirements; direct delivery procedures and weekly entries; and the expedited approval process for small and medium sized manufacturers. The seminar will be held at the York Business Center from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm.

  • Global Economic Outlook 2005
  • Join us on February 17 for an overview of the world's major economies and the outlook for growth, inflation, interest rates and exchange rates as we welcome Dr. Roger C. Bird, Professor of Economics at The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. The luncheon program will be held from 11:30 am - 2:00 pm at the Eden Resort in Lancaster.

  • NAFTA Workshop Offered
  • This full day seminar will discuss the principles of tariff classification, how to identify, interpret and apply the appropriate Rule of Origin and how to correctly complete the NAFTA Certificate of Origin. Ted Murphy, Partner at Baker & McKenzie, will be the presenter. The workshop will be held on February 23, 2005 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Four Points Sheraton in York. Cost is $50.00 for members and $75.00 for non-members.

  • Mark your calendar for our annual "Reaching Your Global Customers" Conference on April 5 at the Wyndham Harrisburg Hershey. The event will feature a full day conference and exhibition focusing on international marketing and web site globalization.
