BSD Offers Preschool Screenings
Boise, ID -- 10/08/2012 -- Boise School District will host free preschool screenings for children ages 3 to 5 years old. The screenings will be held on eight various dates ranging from September 24, 2012 until February 25, 2013. The screenings are designed for children with special needs in the following areas: self help skills, speech, language, social emotional, concepts, hearing, vision, and motor skills.
The screenings will be held at the Madison Early Childhood Center in Boise, 2215 N. Madison Ave. Children who are found to have special needs are referred for further testing within the school district. The testing will help determine if the child would be a candidate for BSD's Early Childhood Special Education program.

December 3, 2012
January 14, 2013
February 25, 2013
Parents interested in screenings for their preschool aged children may call 854-5520 for an appointment. Appointments fill up quickly so schedule an appointment as soon as possible.
