Greetings!
President's Letter

This is my first letter to you as your President of the International Men's Club of America.

I consider it a great honor and distinct privilege to serve as your 10th President in a year in which IMCA will be celebrating its 20th Anniversary.

                IMCA 20 YEARS STRONG!

From humble beginnings 20 years ago with about a dozen members, we have grown to an exceptional and dynamic club with over 180 members. We now offer our members annually not only 10 outstanding Luncheon Programs with dynamic speakers on International topics, but also over 35 participative educational, cultural and social events all aimed at promoting international understanding, and encouraging learning, camaraderie and mutual respect.

This is our mission to which we shall remain true.

I want to assure you that your Board of Directors and I will continue with the same strong focus and efforts that have propelled our club forward over the past 20 years .

We will continue to strive to make IMCA the Premier Venue in Southwest Florida not only for hearing renowned speakers, but also for providing opportunities to participate in our rich cultural and social events.

We are proud of our heritage and our 20th Anniversary Year will be an exciting one in which we will seek to increase our members' participation in all the exciting events we offer.

We are a member managed organization and rely on our members to volunteer their expertise and service to help us manage all facets of our increasingly complex activities. We appreciate all the support we continue to receive and I would encourage any of you to consider participating and volunteering your service.

Our 2012/13 Event Calendar is taking shape and our Program, Dine-Out and Social Committees have exciting events planned. This season's speaker program features 10 distinguished speakers who will provide a global perspective on past and current events.

The highlight of our social programs again this year will be our Annual Holiday Dinner Dance Gala on December 7th at the Vineyards Country Club. This is a sell-out event and I would encourage you to sign up early to be guaranteed a reservation.

Our Website and E-Mail Communication System provide an excellent way for you to keep informed of all our activities and events.

I encourage you to make use of our website to pay annual dues and/or register and pay for events via credit card, by activating our most secure and easy to use Credit Card Processing System.

I am grateful to have the opportunity to serve as your president and look forward to meeting all of you at our many events.

            Henry Pfendt

            President
