We just finished our twelfth Fiscal Year at Peterson's, and it was fantastic. Thanks to you, we continue to grow, in spite of the poor economy. We assume we must be doing something right and, that our great staff is paying attention to all the little details that keep bringing you back. Without you, our great customers, we could not be successful.
Peterson's is happy to announce the addition of our new Pastry Chef, Adam Siurek, who is an alumni of The Chef's Academy, and has several years' experience creating fantastic desserts. Hopefully, you will come to love his new recipes, as well as our existing desserts like our Mile High Chocolate Cake and Créme Brulee.
As you can see from the recent rehearsal dinner pictures below, we pride ourselves on making future brides and grooms very happy. Peterson's can do small intimate parties, as well as larger ones like this one. Talk to our GM, Shaun Slinkard, or our Assistant GM, Frederick Ulery for future reservations.
Don't forget to make your reservations early for Super Bowl week. We are already receiving requests for these parties. Also, start thinking about the holidays and New Year's Eve. We think the coming holidays will start to be booked very early this year.
On Tuesday, October 18th, Executive Chef Josh Hall and his culinary team released our new menu. The feedback and acclaim has been overwhelming. Please let us know your comments.
Our wine program has grown by leaps and bounds during this year and the list has topped 400 labels and is well on its way to top 500 labels. We have held wine dinners with Ricardo Tedeschi of Tedeschi Winery in Italy, and Bo Barrett of Napa Valley's Chateau Montelena. Expect great news coming soon about our wine dinner featuring wines of Napa Valley's Far Niente.
Peterson's has continued to be very active in our community by giving back to worthy causes such as United Way, Fair Haven Foundations, Cathedral High School, Butler University, Fairbanks Alumni Golf Tournament, Bucks for Braden, and many others. This is our small way of saying thank you for helping Peterson's continue to be a success.
We want to take this time to acknowledge and welcome Joe Kelley, the new CEO of Marsh Supermarkets to our community. We are sure that Joe and his staff will be very successful at Marsh.
