So why haven't you registered for Wood Badge C3-620-12-1!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's Not Too Late to Join Us for Wood Badge!
Glacier's Edge Council has been granted final approval to run Wood Badge course C3-620-12! It will be held at our very own Ed Bryant Scout Reservation in Mauston, WI from August 13-18. We have not yet filled all 48 slots for the course and have plenty of room for you!
By attending the course you will grow in areas you didn't know you needed to. Baden-Powell said that "Scouting is a game with a purpose". Wood Badge has a purpose too. That purpose is to provide you with an opportunity to prepare yourself to be a better leader. By being a better leader, you can help the youth in your unit to become better leaders too. Wood Badge is an opportunity to interact with other Scouters, both on the Staff and with other participants; to develop additional resources; to have a better understanding of the Scout programs; and to have fun. You will make lifetime friends from people you do not yet know. You will find answers to some of the problems you are having in Scouting. You will gain confidence in your ability to handle situations not only in Scouting, but at work or at home. During the 6-day course you will be given skills to make you a better leader.
So Scouters, join us for a fun filled learning course like you have never experienced before. The staff and I are excited to present this course to you. We hope you make the commitment to join us!
