Southern Lakes District Roundtable Notice

Hello to All,

All Cub Scout, Boy Scout and Venturing leaders are invited to the Southern Lakes November Roundtable that will be held from 7:00 to 8:30 pm on Thursday, November 3, 2011, at Elkhorn High School,482 E Geneva St, Elkhorn, WI 53121-1990. There is one major change to our meeting location that we ask you to note - we will not be our usual location in the cafeteria. Rather, we will be in the Library and Room 118 this month. We will have direction signs up at the school to help you find your way.

It is important that a representative from each unit attend the Roundtable, but it is much more fun if you bring a whole group of your leaders. Roundtables are a great way to meet other leaders in the District, gain many new ideas, find out what is happening in the Council and ask those questions you want answered. There is a lot of great information given out at these meetings and they are well worth your time to attend!

Please also note that on December 1, 2011 the council is hosting one of the Council Summer Program Kick-offs at Camp Indian Trails and so we will not hold our regularly-scheduled December Roundtable at Elkhorn High School. A second Council Summer Program Kickoff will be held on December 7, 2011 at the Middleton High School (in the cafeteria). You may attend either of these meetings. Please be sure to get to one of the meetings as we will be distributing the Leader`s Guides for the Summer Camping opportunities and the information packets for the February 11, 2012 Council-wide Klondike Derby.

Council Summer Program Kickoff Schedule (both dates/locations)

6:30 - 7:25 - Summer Program Midway, Chili Buffet (Dinner)

7:00 - 7:25 - Breakout session for any District Roundtable Business

7:30 - 7:55 - Summer Program General Session - Planning Tips and Updates for all Summer Programs

8:00 - 8:45 - Breakout Sessions for Boy Scout and Cub Scout Summer Programs

We hope to see you at Thursday`s Roundtable!
