Hello Vanguard Families,
The Musical "Beauty and The Beast" is coming together nicely, and with the performance only being a month away, I am beginning to collect stage props. Below is the first call for stage props. If you have something below, please contact me rather than Melissa Judge. If you lend a an item below, please remember:
- Do not bring anything that is valuable or sentimental. We try to be careful but accidents do happen.
- Clearly mark every item with your name.
- Bring the items to Jill Custer, not to the stage area or Melissa Judge. I need to record the items that are being loaned so I can make sure they are returned to you. My office is located at the back of the library in The Vanguard School.
The items needed are:
Pretty hand held mirror
String of fish - wood or plastic
Bakers hat & apron
Sheep - stuffed animal, not too small, to fit in arms
Old books & old cart for Book Seller
Old milk bucket or milk can
Hunting gun and stuffed animal duck
Real looking plastic eggs
Nice, rich looking arm chair and blanket
Satchel to be used as a suitcase
Miniature portrait or small picture
Bloomers & pretty sleeping gown
Bowl & washcloth - to be used to clean Beasts wounds (era appropriate)
2 soup bowls - era appropriate
2 wood dinner style chairs
2 small stools for balcony scene
Tavern scene - small bistro (or something similar) table and 2 chairs
4 torches - may need to use long flashlights with the light covered with cloth or something
2 pitch forks, 3 shovels, rolling pin (mob scene at end when trying to kill Beast)
Plastic dagger
