   Aging Well Digest

Useful, interesting, and informative news for seniors and their families

  from Jeff Goll: Senior Advisor

 Dear Friends:

Through my work with seniors as a Senior Consultant I come into contact with a wide range of articles about aging-related topics. I know that keeping up with information can be overwhelming. The list of issues that will take more and more of our time and energy as we and our parents age is daunting.  Long term health insurance, home safety, informed consent, CCRC's, medicare, nursing homes, geriatric case management, medical records, revocable trusts, palliative care, hospital safety, patient's rights, living wills...the list goes on. For this reason I have created Aging Well Digest.

Each month I will share with you some of the best, most useful, and informative news for seniors that I
encounter. I hope you will find something useful in each edition.

In this issue, you will find links to articles that address how to respond when a health insurance claim is denied; why to be diligent during a hospital shift change; how to avoid the most common medical error; and combating senior fraud schemes.

Of course I am here to work with you if you need more personalized help with any of these issues or other aging related concerns. Your first hour of consultation is free in order for us to determine if and how I can help you.

Thanks,  Jeff
