A little off the beaten path in Ybor City is a gem of a business, West Palm Wines & Beaune's Wine Bar. Located on 22nd Street, just south of I-4, West Palm Wines is a full-service fine wine retailer, specializing in European wines and home to the Tampa Institute Wine School. Owner Jim Sirna and his competent staff can help you find just the right bottle of wine for any occasion.
Beaune's Wine Bar, (pronounced "bones") named after the capital city of Burgundy, France, is a wine bar & French bistro open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. A cozy, comfortable lounge, with couches, tables and chairs and a beautiful bar, Beaune's offers an excellent assortment of wines by the glass, along with fine cheeses, charcuterie and a complete dinner menu. In addition, all the wines for sale at West Palm Wines can be poured at Beanue's for just $10 above retail. In 2010, Beaune's Wine Bar received the prestigious Wine Spectator "Best of Award of Excellence."
One of our favorite nights out in Ybor is to spend quality time with our friends, sharing a bottle of wine, while enjoying a cheese, meat, fruit and nut platter at Beaune's Wine Bar. Then, buying another bottle from the wine store to enjoy at home. It doesn't get much better than that.

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are getting into the Holiday spirit. We are catching-up on our committee debriefings on our fall events - with sessions on Gala, OktoberFest and Guavaween. This fall has been the busiest in years at the Ybor City Chamber and it doesn't stop as we move into the winter season.
The Cuban Club will host our Annual Holiday Party on Thursday, December 8th. This open house style event is from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Admission, again this year, is a toy for member, Metropolitan Ministries (or a modest cash donation at the door). The Club is providing hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar, and we will have one of our member DJ's, Reese Elliott, provide the music. Please join us for this Annual year-end celebration. This fete brings together over one hundred and thirty guests from around the Ybor City community.
Another tradition is our Annual Holiday Luncheon on Tuesday, December 13th. This is a great opportunity to relax and network with friends, associates and other Ybor business owners. Entertainment will be provided by the HCC Jazz Ensemble based at the Ybor City Campus and lead by Director, Robert Winslow. Dress in your best holiday garb.
Our Fiesta Day Committee met Wednesday and is preparing for Ybor's oldest and largest heritage celebration. I understand that the Committee is planning on making the 65th Anniversary Edition extra special. Traditionally held on the last Saturday of February, the 25th this year, it should be a real treat. We had over 15,000 guests for this free, family-oriented event last year, half of them from outside the county.
Finally, we have two of our strongest B2B marketing opportunities coming up - the Chamber's Business Directory and Community Guide and our winter Ybor Expo: Business Showcase in February. Advertising sales are now open for the Directory. By contacting Michele Keating at 248-3712 x25 or firstname.lastname@example.org, you can reserve your ad space. You can sign-up to sponsor and/or exhibit at the Ybor Expo by contacting Anna Ramos at 248-3712 x22 or email@example.com.
Until next month, Andrea White
