Normal Teenage Angst or Something More Serious?

By Diana Weaver, executive director of I AM HERE Coalition, an initiative of the Grant Halliburton Foundation.

PPE in Action - Richardson ISD

Richardson ISD

A Parent Engagement Team from each of the secondary schools in Richardson, TX ISD spent two days with PPE Education Consultants in October in a workshop learning how to use PPE as a professional resource for their School Improvement Plans. Each team left the workshop with a strategic plan ready for implementation.

"PPE is a wonderful product.  It has helped our staff assist families with the different situations that challenge their parents and students.   It has increased our family involvement and engagement as we have built better relationships between campus staff, parents, and students.  It has also reduced the barriers to communication so that parents and teachers can work together more easily to help children achieve academic success."

From Kim Fuller, Executive Director Grants & Entitlement

Richardson ISD (4 months after the RISD PPE training)
