HEARTS for Bolivian Families
Bolivia is South America's poorest country, with 70% of its 8.6 million inhabitants living in poverty. Most Bolivian Families do not have the resources to pay for training or curriculum, and they don't normally have access to parenting programs.
In January 2012, our team of translators and trainers will travel to Bolivia and train community leaders to run Nurturing God's Way programs. Our goal is to raise $6,000 by the end of January.
We are relying on your donations. - The funds we raise will pay for travel for trainers, training materials, and program materials for families
- Ultimately, the funds will give children a chance to grow up in a loving home, become healthy and successful adults, and
then practice the same positive parenting skills with their children.

A $40 Gift Can Help an Inmate and a Family
It only costs $40 to sponsor an inmate at Lee Arrendale Prison, the largest female prison in Georgia. Forty Dollars pays for one inmate to receive a parenting handbook, complete the entire Nurturing God's Way program and receive a certificate of completion. By participating in the program, the inmate is allowed to spend quality time with her child. This gives the parent a chance to practice the skills she learns in class. During the program, one participant stated, "I want to parent the way God parents me." Nurturing God's Way is a proven-effective program that is truly life-changing. In a prison environment, it helps gives parents and children a chance for success. To find out more about this opportunity, contact Diana Bray. |
