| A Special Thank You for Adopting 143 HBP Families This Christmas! |
|
Thank you for providing a joyous Christmas for Healthy Babies Project families this year!
Donors sponsored an HBP family by providing gifts from the family's Wish list and celebrating with them at HBP's Family Day Christmas Party on December 15.
In total, donors sponsored 143 HBP families - nearly a three-fold increase over last year's 50 Adopt-A Family sponsorships! Because of our caring donors, these women, children, and families had an extra-special holiday in 2010.
Thank you for your support!

| One New Dad's Letter of Gratitude ... |
|
Read one new father's response to his Adopt-A-Family's donors:
Dear friend, You have done a great and generous thing, filling Denise's heart and mine full of infinite smiles and a deep appreciation for your kindness and generosity. Words cannot express the joy you have blessed us with. I know of how hard times are these days. There are many needs pressing our community. However, as a strong and willful young man, so I believe I will conquer all fears and obstacles that stand in my way. Even so, it is utterly amazing of how someone can come into our lives and simply bless us with gifts of care and genuine love ... I was so overwhelmed with joy, I wanted to reach in my pockets and give all I had because I simply don't know how to respond to genuine generosity. When someone grows accustomed to providing for themselves for so long, they forget the feeling of actually receiving a gift. So I simply say thank you, and may God bless you!

| Give to HBP and Save Lives |
|
For 20 years, HBP has connected high-risk, underserved pregnant D.C. women and families to health care, social services, and educational opportunities. Thousands of HBP babies have been born alive and healthy. But recent city budget cuts have slashed HBP funding. We need your help to continue saving and transforming D.C. lives. Give here.
You don't have to see them to help.
Gifts to Healthy Babies Project, Inc. are tax-deductible. Your support means a true chance for D.C. teenagers and women to have productive lives. Giving online is safe and secure. Thank you for caring and giving!
