Welcome New Artist: Jeanette Korab!
Jeanette Korab studied art and photography at Stevens College in Colombia, Missouri. After putting her BFA to work for a time teaching at the American Fashion Institute in Lucerne, Switzerland, she earned her Masters in Fashion Illustration at Texas Women's University. A career in fashion photography followed, where Jeanette's clientele included W Magazine and Nieman-Marcus. Her marriage to Artist Vladimir Gorsky and management of his career exposed her to the international fine art world.
Jeanette's art has now grown into multi-level aspects of painting in mixed media pieces based on her highly theatrical photography. Her Venice Carnavale Series blends mysterious costumed elegance in surreal exotic locations with gorgeous light on beautiful bodies, all pushed into a dream with delirious dancing whorls of paint.
We're delighted to be showing Jeanette's "Venice Carnevale Series".
