Greetings!
Here's a newsflash: Scottsdale is delicious in late January. Our mild sun's low angle produces lovely, crisp light on the Sonoran desert. Everyone is busy with bowl games, car auctions, golf & horse shows. We eat. We bask in the sun. We meet for coffee. And we talk art.... | | Rima Fine Art, Scottsdale, AZ, USA |

Rima Welcomes Chen Xiaoyan & Mauriel Morejon
We're delighted to welcome two wonderful new artists:
Chen Xiaoyan is a native of the Yunan region of China, and her spectacular artworks have been produced using what is referred to as "the Yunnan picture faction". This method is closely related to the traditional Chinese cloisonne technique, and uses copper strip inlay, metal filling and metal firing components. Her award-winning works have been shown in many countries and we are delighted to welcome Chen to Rima.

Mauriel Morejon was born in Cuba to an Italian father and a Cuban mother. He perfected his talent and skill for painting at the Havana Art Academy and entered the long and honored history of creating landscapes. His treatment of opposites, such as light and dark or delicate and massive, sets up a dynamic interplay that excites the mind. His paintings are formal, dignified yet warmly human. His works have received critical acclaim in major exhibitions in Cuba, Italy and throughout Europe.

Art as an Asset
You buy art because you love it. But certain late artists like Pierre Auguste Renoir, Pablo Picasso, Edouard Cortes and some of the other artists in Rima's Old Master collection are the "blue chips" of the art world. Such pieces can offer benefits beyond their beauty including diversification, long term capital appreciation and hedging properties arising from art's generally low or negative correlation to other assets types like securities and real estate.
