President Signs Creating Hope Act

On Monday, July 9,
President Obama signed
the Creating Hope Act,
a new law that provides incentives to pharmaceutical companies who develop new drugs for rare childhood diseases such as pediatric cancers.

For more on this milestone in the pediatric cancer community, read the full article from KBTX.

Kudos to fellow childhood cancer advocate Nancy Goodman, pictured above with her family, who was instrumental in getting this new law passed!

The Seany Foundation has teamed up with Lollipop

Theater Network's interactive music program Rhythm of Hope to bring the joy of music to kids battling cancer. TSF will sponsor six live music sessions held throughout the year at various hospitals in Southern California.

Young patients meet current recording artists, are invited to become part of the band, and receive their own copy of the day's original tunes.

Former musical guests include Jamie Lynn Spears, Ruby Summer, Urbalist, Brad Smith, Haddon Cord, Jamestown Revival, and many more talented, big-hearted musicians.

For more info on our new partners, visit Lollipop Theater Network.

Seany's Corner at Summer Camp
Camp Reach for the Sky

The Seany Foundation proudly sponsored "Seany's Corner" at Camp Reach for the Sky, an American Cancer Society summer camp that provides outdoor adventures for children with cancer and their families.

Seany's Corner provided arts and crafts activities for campers who weren't able to partake in the more strenuous activities.

Tre McLeod Celebrates

Thank you supporters and attendees of the 2nd Anuual Swinging for Seany Golf Tournament at Fairbanks Ranch Country Club on Monday, June 11, for making the event such a success! You raised $63,000 for research and patient programs.

The day couldn't have been more beautiful or fun-filled! Special guests included NFL players Chris McAlister, Tre McLeod, Kassim Osgood, and Andre Reed. Golfers also took their swings alongside Long Drive Champ Vinny Ciurluini and LPGA golfer Meghan Hardin.

Also, a special thanks to event sponsors: Medical Center Pharmacy, Eddy Pump, VALT, Barona Resort & Casino, and Mountain West Real Estate.
