Seany Wins SOMBFAB Award
On October 19, Amy Robins proudly accepted the Guardian Angels Award from the highly popular support group for teens with cancer Some Of My Best Friends Are Bald (SOMBFAB). The Seany Foundation received the award for constructing "The Seany Room" - an activity room for teens with cancer at Rady Children's Hospital. The foundation was also recognized for Seany's Sponsor-a-Kid program, which provides sponsored movie tickets to young cancer patients and their families so they can enjoy a blockbuster movie and snacks for free at one of Seany's famous Movie Nights.
The Seany Foundation would like to congratulate fellow recipients Aldo Sabino, Carmen Delgadillo from Friends of Scott, and Gary Schneider. We'd also like to wish SOMBFAB a very happy 21st anniversary! For more information, please visit The Seany Foundation Blog.

Special Room Provides Refuge
New photos of
The Seany Room reveal the finishing touches recently made on the lounge. The beach- inspired murals add a splash of color and life to the room, which is meant to serve as an oasis for teens and young adults receiving treatment at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. Thanks to your donations, cancer and blood disorder patients ages 12 and up have a space they can call their own. View more photos at Flickr Photostream.

Meet Ira Cammeyer
Seany Board Member Mr. Ira Cammeyer began Harbor Consulting Group in 1995, and for the last 16 years he and his firm have been helping align, engage, and empower individuals and organizations so they can reach their full potential. The Seany Foundation is thrilled to have such an impressive member on our team.
Like Sean, Ira played baseball as a young man. Now, he spends his free time on the tennis court and golf course. In fact, Ira was instrumental in successfully implementing The Seany Foundation's 1st Annual Charity Golf Tournament.
