Seany Teen Room Up and Running

Monday, January 24, 2011 marked the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Seany Room
in the oncology wing at Rady Children's Hospital. The Seany Room is now open daily from 9am-10pm.  Here's what RCHSD staff are saying:Team Seany and Dr. Roberts in Seany Room

Tee Off Against Childhood Cancer

You're invited to tee off against childhood cancer at our inaugural "Swinging for Seany" Golf Tournament at Fairbanks Ranch Country Club to be held on Monday, May 23.Swinging for Seany Logo

Seany Movie Night Gets Makeover

But wait, there's moUltra Star Del Mar Highlands "Before"re!  Just when you thought Seany Movie Nights couldn't get any more fun-- The Seany Foundation is excited to share that this year's Seany Movie Nights will be held at a newly renovated Ultra Star Del Mar Highlands.  Construction is already underway for a brand new facility that includes "eight auditoriums featuring stadium seating with luxury high-back reclining chairs; state-of-the-art digital screens with 3D capability; and a cinema cafe offering an assortment of gourmet movie fare".  So, be sure to get your tickets early to take advantage of the best seats in the house!

We are currently seeking sponsors to help underwrite Seany Movie Nights.  If you or someone you know is interested, please contact Director of Development, Tara Ricasa.

SD Supervisors Award $20,000 to The Seany Foundation
 
Congratulations to our Seany Foundation Grant Writing Team, Melanie Robins Photo credit: http://sdnorthparknews.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/Ron-Roberts-Headshot-300x284.jpgand Amie Forte Kuznicki, for their efforts in securing a $20,000 grant from the County of San Diego!  The grant will go toward construction costs related to completing the final phase of the Seany Room in the new oncology wing of RCHSD.  The Seany Foundation sends a special thanks to Supervisor Ron Roberts for all his support!
