Seany Wins $20K from Chase

Just in case you missed all the online excitement, we are very happy to inform you that thanks to the votes of our loyal Facebook friends, The Seany Foundation has been awarded $20,000 from Chase!

Out of ten of thousands of competing charities, The Seany Foundation ranked #81 in the Chase Community Giving contest.

Thank you again for your outpouring of support!  This big donation is just further evidence of how each individual can really make the difference!
Seany Teen Room Opening Soon

On Sunday, September 26, the new Acute Care Pavilion at Rady Children's Hospital will be open for public touring from 9am-3pm.  We invite you to come view the new facility and, of course, our favorite room: the Seany Teen Room.

In the Seany Teen Room, Best Buy will be installing the electronics, and the furniture will be delivered shortly.  After the public viewing on Sept. 26, the entire building will be cleaned top to bottom to make way for its new patients who move in on Oct. 10.

Thank you again for being a part of this great addition to the new hematology/oncology wing.  Teens in treatment will have a place to call their own, to relax, to talk, and to enjoy the company of their peers.  Plans are already in the works to provide music lessons in the Seany Teen Room, so stay tuned for updates!
How You Can Make the Difference

There are lots of different ways you can get involved with The Seany Foundation to help made the difference in the lives of kids with cancer:

Host your own fundraiser to benefit The Seany Foundation.  Check out how 5-year old Noah Baird did it with a little help from Mom.

Spread the word One of our biggest challenges is telling the whole world about the great work we are doing and the fun events we are hosting.  Invite your friends to join the cause on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and sign up to receive regular updates via the Seany Mailing List.

Attend our events.  Let's face it.  Times are tough for everyone right now, which is why your attendance at our fundraising events is all the more valuable.  Bring some friends.  We guarantee you that you will all have a great time and feel good knowing that your donations are going to a very worthy cause.

Volunteer.  Team Seany is always looking for energetic, dedicated volunteers.  Contact us to find out when our next volunteer orientation is scheduled.

Donate.  Give what you can, when you can.  All those nickels and dimes really add up!  Visit our website for new donation options, and send Tributes more easily than ever.
