2012 Local Officer Training School
Hello Iowa Jaycees,
2012 LOTS (Local Officer Training School) will be Sunday, November 13, 2011. If you are on your 2012 Chapter Board OR are interested in being on your Chapter Board in the future then this training is for YOU!! Take the excitement and momentum you have now and apply it to your 2012 Board of Directors and local chapter members!
The Ames Jaycees are also hosting a social event for Saturday night, November 12th, 2011!!!
Also, JCI Presenter is being offered on Saturday, November 12, 2011 - Make it a Jaycee Weekend!!!

Washington Park Decorations
Thursday, November 17th - 5:00 PM
Washington Park, Downtown
Come join us as we set up the Christmas lights and garland on the light poles in Washington Park, plus decorate the tree in the gazebo. Thanksgiving Social

Bring a Thanksgiving dish to pass for the meal. We will be serving turkey and dressing sandwiches.
The museum will be open exclusively for the Jaycees, so we can also explore the Art Museum's latest exhibits. The whole family is invited.
Drinks and table service will be provided. Don't forget to mention on Facebook what dish you are passing.

2012 USJC National Convention
The 2012 US Junior Chamber National Convention will be held in Des Moines, IA, on June 27 - July 1, 2012. The Iowa Jaycees are proud to host the nation next year and hope that many of you can join the fun! We are working on a schedule of great trainers and presenters, not to mention the celebrations recognizing our successes and honoring the Ten Oustanding Young Americans.
