A Night at the Symphony
Come join us for our September ID event at the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra on Thursday, September 29. We will have a cocktail hour beginning at 6:00 PM in the lobby of the Five Flags Theater. Complimentary appetizers and a cash bar will be available.
At 6:45, we will have a private viewing of a Dubuque Symphony Orchestra rehearsal.

Chili Trot 5K Run & 2K Run/Walk, Saturday Oct 1, 2011
The Chili Trot is back for its 4th Year. The race itself starts at 9:00 AM down at the AY McDonald Park (same place as fireworks) and is usually over with by 10:00 (clean up and all). But help is needed for this race and we need 15 volunteers to be at AY McDonald Park at 7:00 AM to help make sure the course is properly marked, the timing equipment is all set and racer registration is ready to go by 7:30. At the end, help is also needed to retrieve racer numbers, line up winners by age group and of course, hand out prizes. All in all, this is a low labor, fun event and it's over quick so you can enjoy the Chili Cook Off later on in the day. 2012 USJC National Convention
The 2012 US Junior Chamber National Convention will be held in Des Moines, IA, on June 27 - July 1, 2012. The Iowa Jaycees are proud to host the nation next year and hope that many of you can join the fun! We are working on a schedule of great trainers and presenters, not to mention the celebrations recognizing our successes and honoring the Ten Oustanding Young Americans.
