Dubuque Jaycees Night at the Fighting Saints Game
Join us as we cheer on the Dubuque Fighting Saints to victory against the Cedar Rapids Rough Riders on Saturday, April 2, at 7pm at the Mystique Community Ice Center. We'll have reserved seating and will be recognized as one of the evening's special attending groups.
This is a great fundraising and recruitment opportunity for our chapter, but to make it successful, we need your help:
- Tickets are $10 each.
- Sell 10 tickets and your ticket is free!
- Any new members signed that night will also receive their ticket for free!
- Buyers of the first 50 tickets will have their names put in a drawing for the chance to sit in the penalty box while the teams warm-up on the ice.
- Seats are limited and the deadline for buying/selling tickets is Thursday, March 24.

This is also a chance for non-members to see how fun the Dubuque Jaycees are, so be sure to invite your friends and coworkers who are not yet members to join us for a great night of hockey and Jaycee fun!

Relay For Life
My name is Alyson Tasker and I'm the Team Captain roll for the Dubuque Jaycees 2011 Relay for Life team. I'm proud to say it's the Dubuque Jaycee's 3rd year participating in Relay For Life, which will take place June 3-4, 2011.
Being on an American Cancer Society Relay For Life team is an amazing experience. Picture the scene: you're surrounded by your family and friends, urging each other on to make another lap around the track. The air is filled with the sound of laughter and sometimes tears, as our community celebrates those who have fought cancer, remembers the loved ones we've lost, and fights back against a disease that has taken too much from too many.
It would be an honor to have you on our team for this year's Relay For Life. The American Cancer Society is saving lives by helping people stay well, helping people get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back. Are you ready to join the fight?

US Jaycees 2011 National Convention
June 8-12, 2011 · Chicago, IL
If you would like to attend the Jaycee National convention, it will be taking place in Chicago this year. Cost for full attendance is $250 if you register by May 21st. There are day passes available, depending on what day you want to attend. Registration & hotel reservations will need to be made by you.
If you are attending, please send a copy of your registration to Liz Kirpes @ pfohlsmarketing@fbx.com to apply for funds. We have a limited amount of money set aside to help offset the costs of anyone wanting to attend. I must receive the fund request by April 21st. After that date, you will no longer be eligible.
