Sunday, March 28 - The Easter Egg Hunt at Hills & Dales, 1011 Davis Street, will be on Sunday March 28, 2010.  We will be meeting at 1:00 pm to stuff the eggs full of candy and then at 1:30pm we will be taking the "bigs" residents out to hide the eggs for the "littles" to find the goodies.  Then we will all meet in the community room to have punch and cookies with the residents.  This is a family friendly event, open to Jaycees, children of members, potential members, and friends of the Jaycees.  We welcome all who wish to help out make the day super extra special for these kids!

Dubuque Jaycees Scholarship Presentation

The Community area of the Dubuque Jaycees is looking for members who would like to assist in the presentation of our Scholarship award to graduating students at our local High Schools. This is an excellent way to give back to our community, help students achieve dreams of higher education, and build future leaders who might become Jaycees someday! We already have members signed up for Wahlert High School, and still need help at the following.

The Women's Leadership Network (WLN) of Dubuque is now accepting nominations for our 3rd Annual Women of Achievement until March 31, 2010. Then on Tuesday, April 27, all nominated women and recipients will be recognized at our awards dinner and ceremony starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Grand River Center. All are welcome.

Challenge Day consists of various activities in which participants may take part either as a team or individually. Each participant is given the opportunity to play such sports as wheelchair basketball, wheelchair volleyball, ramp bowling, dice bowling, darts, and many other games. Each of these activities has been adapted to meet the needs of the severe and profound.
