Thursday, January 28th - Chili Cook-off Social - Please join us for our annual Chili Cook Off, 7:00pm at Stone Cliff Winery, 600 Star Brewery Dr.  Bring your crock pot filled with your favorite Chili Recipe. We will supply the bowls and spoons. There will be a cash bar for beer and wine.  Prizes will be awarded for the Hottest, the Beaniest, and Best Overall Chili.

Friday, February 12th - Mardi Gras Social February 12th at 7:00pm at Fat Tuesdays, 1121 University Ave. Come ready to party; it may be your last chance before Lent begins! We will provide the Appetizers and Mardi Gras beads. Also, feel free to dress up if the mood catches you.

Sunday, March 28, 2010 - The Easter Egg Hunt at Hills & Dales, 3505 Stoneman Road, will be on Sunday March 28, 2010 at 1:00pm. We are looking for members to participate in this event. We will need approximately 4-5 members at 12:00pm to help assemble plastic eggs at Hills & Dales. At 1:00pm more members are needed to help hide the eggs and at 1:30pm the we will be helping the children search for the eggs, followed by a celebration party. This event is open to Jaycees, children of members with an adult, potential members, and friends of the Jaycees. We are also looking for a member who is interested in becoming a chairperson for this event. Year End All State Convention and Awards Banquet will be at the Holiday Inn in Dubuque this year!

 

Training will include personal enhanced training in the morning and then position specific in the afternoon. Cost is $70.00 for the full day of training and 2 meals. Then from the standpoint of the Israelis, Palestinians and U.S. involvement, he will discuss what he sees to be the current obstacles to peace between these two Mid-East groups. There will be time for questions and answers. It promises to be an enlightening evening.
