EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENTS
 
Haley School Students to build a boat at the WoodenBoat Show
 We have been asked to build a boat, with our students, at the WoodenBoat Show.

Come see us at the show. Bring your friends.
Join our students. Work with them during your visit to the show.
  This will definitely be an interactive exhibit.
 
  
Zephyr heads to Maine for the Small Reach Regatta
with a crew of students from the Boston Public Schools
Zephyr 
  We will be in Maine July 28-August 1 to participate in the Small Reach Regatta.
 
We plan on taking two students, selected from all who have participated in the program to date. The selection process may be the hardest part of this.
There have been so many wonderful, engaged students over the past three years.

He works with us four days a week in the boat shop.
He brings great skills as a boat builder and a strong understanding of human development. 
 
We also have a growing group of volunteers getting boats painted and ready for the summer.

BOATS FOR SALE
to support our work with kids
in the Boston Public Schools
 
Some of the boats built by students in past years are pictured above. They are for sale for $1,200 each. We now have 23. They are 10ft, carvel planked in Maine cedar, framed in white oak from Orange, MA and have a fir plywood bottom. All materials are sourced from sustainably managed forests by certified loggers and milled in FSC certified facilities.
