Insurance Broker Pleads Guilty to 12 Counts of Medicaid Fraud

arrestA Springfield, Missouri insurance broker recently plead guilty to 12 counts of Medicaid fraud totalling more than $700,000. According to Attorney General Chris Koster, Kevin Wayne Louderback "misrepresented insurance rates and pocketed the overpayment of premiums." Additionally, he also "offered a kickback to people to get them to enroll in an insurance program, fraudulently misstated an insurance company's rate and then forged documents to set out the false rate."

Man Collects 10 Years of Disability Benefits & Charged with Insurance Fraud

A 48-year-old man who claimed to be disabled was been charged with three counts of fraud after state investigators videotaped him repairing cars, fishing hip-deep in a stream, and climbing rocks to get out of the stream. Matthew W. Robbins has been collecting disability benefits ever since he strained his back 10 years ago while picking up a water pump while working at his job at a summer camp.
