Carpel Tunnel Caper
The Claimant alleged bilateral carpel tunnel syndrome resulting from working for the insured. Surveillance was established at the Claimant's residence on various dates and times. On the first day of the surveillance, a male Subject believed to be the Claimant was observed with an unknown male loading a wheelbarrow into a truck at the Claimant's residence. He was followed to a private residence in Kingbury, New York where he was observed unloading materials from the vehicle before traveling to a local hardware store. The Subject was observed at the hardware store loading four bags of cement and a sheet of plywood into the vehicle along with an unknown male.

The Subject was followed back to the private residence where he was observed lifting cinder blocks, carrying a sheet of plywood and applying cement to the foundation. He was also observed breaking a cinderblock with a hammer. These actions all exhibited extensive use of arms, hands and shoulders and the subject moved without signs of pain or restriction.
The subject was observed on subsequent days of surveillance arriving and departing the Claimant's residence in the same pick up truck. He entered and exited the vehicle with ease and without signs of pain or discomfort.
