Building a Healthy Immune SystemSome simple things to keep in mind for a healthy immune system for your pet: - Feed the most natural diet possible. Avoid chemical preservatives (BHT, BHA, ethoxyquin) and animal and plant by-products.
- Supplement with Omega fatty acids such as Salmon Oil, Herring Oil, Flax Seeds, etc. Your pet's skin, coat and immune system will reap the benefits.
- Increase and support good bacteria in the digestive system by supplementing with probiotics, prebiotics and enzymes. A healthy digestive system is a healthy immune system.
- Exercise, exercise, exercise! Even if you can only squeeze in 10 minutes of play time. For your pet that's: 10 minutes of exercise, 10 minutes of bonding, 10 minutes of strict attention and 10 minutes of fun!

in our previous newsletters, we are going to fill everyone in on another one of our furry kids .

I'm sure everyone knows there is a pup that sleeps behind the counter at the shop, Sunny Bunny AKA "Shop Dog" our 2 year Pit\Lab\Sheppard Mix!
She was our blessing after we lost Molly, we thought we didn't want
another puppy so soon, but things happen for a reason! We saved her and
in return she filled a void and brought joy to all of us=)
Sunny was formerly a dumpster diver who we lured into the car with an Egg McMuffin. If you haven't met Sunny, yes, there is a dog behind the counter. She may seem like she's 10 years old when she's lying around, minding her toys, but when she gets home, the rambunkshus puppy we know comes out! She chases Mouser and Whiskers up and down the bed, removes Buster's collar when no one is around, gets her ears cleaned by Haley and rips apart any stuffed toy when everyone is asleep!
