Greetings!
Do you have a business or personal blog you like to read? If so, you're not alone. eMarketer says 112.7 million Internet users read blogs at least monthly. The number is expected to rise to 122.6 million in 2011. Are some of these people a potential market for your organization's message?

BlogWant to Start Blogging?

A blog can consume many valuable business hours if it is improperly managed. Before you take the plunge, consider your motivations. Why do you want to develop a blog? What benefits will it provide? Is it the best format to reach your audience? Do you have the time, staff or external resources needed to provide regular posts? How will you evaluate its success?

Before you start blogging, monitor the blogosphere. Find out what bloggers are writing about your industry, your organization and your products or services. As you "listen," you'll learn the culture of blogging and how others in your industry are using it. You'll also discover the key influencers in your field and how you can separate your blog from the competition.

MonsterTips to Tame the E-mail Monster

Woman with computerE-mail messages arrive in your inbox whether you're in the office or not. I appreciate some of the wonderful things technology enables me to do. But have you ever felt overwhelmed by the number of e-mail messages you receive? Here are some simple tips on managing your e-mail efficiently.

  1. Pick a schedule to check your e-mail that works for you.
  2. Only copy or forward messages to people who need the information.
  3. Clean out your inbox. If you need to keep a message, put it in a folder with an appropriate name.
  4. Keep your messages brief and to the point.
  5. Don't substitute e-mail for face-to-face interaction.
bloggingNow That You're Blogging, What Comes Next?

Blog photoOne of the major reasons people abandon their blogs is lack of time. To be successful, you need to continually update your blog with relevant and interesting content. But who says you must write all that information yourself?

One of the services we provide clients is matching them with guest bloggers who share similar interests, concerns and goals. We also write posts. These guest writers often come with a built-in audience and links to appropriate websites and content.

If you would like more information, give me a call at 404.841.8168. Think of the call as one less e-mail message you need to write.
