 You can Make a Difference!
You don't have to wait until January to make your resolutions. November is a great month in which to give thanks for all your blessings! We may not be able individually to erect a school, solve major economic issues or cure a disease; however, our contributions of time, talent and money can have a significant impact on those around us.
We all have causes, organizations and people who are important to us. You don't have to make a major commitment to make a difference. Check out www.createthegood.org to learn more. |

First Montessori School of Atlanta Helps Keep Community Clean
Roadside litter is a serious threat to motorists and wildlife. Initiated in 1989, the Adopt-A-Highway Program is a partnership between the Georgia Department of Transportation and Keep Georgia Beautiful. Our client, First Montessori School of Atlanta, adopted a one-mile stretch of land on Roswell Road. The school is doing its part to help Keep Georgia Peachy Clean!
"The Adopt-A-Highway Program is a natural fit for us because environmental stewardship is one of the core values we teach," says FMSA's Head of School Jerri King. "Our staff, parents and students serve as visible reminders that we are all stewards of the land. Littering has both environmental consequences and monetary costs. By participating in this program, we help demonstrate our awareness of the natural world and our responsibility for it." If you would like more information about participating in the Adopt-A-Highway Program, please e-mail Sylvia Small. |
