2011 COMMUNITY CAMPAIGN UPDATE

Stella, Val & Beth

A strong community is built by caring residents who reach out in time of need...who work together...who choose to LIVE UNITED.

Thanks to the generosity of many in our community, we have raised $1,048,354 or 62% of the United Way Campaign goal of $1,700,000. Those who CAN help are reaching out to those who NEED help.

While we are doing well, we still need help to raise the remaining dollars needed to ensure that vital services remain available to meet the needs of those struggling in these tough economic times.

For example, when you support the United Way, your gift helps

O    Low income, working parents find affordable, quality childcare

O    Troubled teens get encouragement and assistance needed to graduate

O    Uninsured families receive dental care and healthy/wellness checkups.

As the United Way's Community Partner Agencies struggle to assist the increasing numbers of adults and children needing services, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to ensure that the agencies can continue to meet those needs. You may pledge online at www.unitedwaydgco.org or make a donation of stock by contacting the United Way office.

On behalf of those who depend on our community's collective generosity, thank you for any level of support you can provide.

Sincerely,

Val and Beth Stella
