What is Possible with Touch for Health

"I went to yoga class after I received the Spleen Pancreas balance and could really feel a difference. A lot of fluid released out of my nose. My left hand is not as sensitive when I push with my fingers. My right hand's grip is stronger and I have less apprehension in working with it. My equilibrium is totally different."  Shanon Ge'er, bodyworker recovering from tunnel carpal syndrome and recent surgery commenting after yesterday's 5 minute Touch for Health balance with Katie Mickey.

What is Possible with Table Shiatsu

"My experience following the session was intense. The first few days I was very sore throughout my lower rib cage.  I had a strong pain in my ear, to the point that I almost felt like it was infected and that I needed to get it treated. Then it abated all of a sudden. The next day I woke up feeling really clear and with lots of energy. I ran on the beach for the first time in months and felt great."

Ashley Vicenti, recovering from benzEne exposure/environmental illness, commenting on her experience following last week's Table Shiatsu session with Katie Mickey

 Greetings!

This summer we are offering an integrative approach to working with the meridian, muscle, lymphatic and organ systems with a course called Table Shiatsu, Touch for Health and Clinical Pathology. The course offers  powerful assessment techniques for identifying muscle/organ weaknesses and very specific protocols for strengthening them.

meridian chartThursday mornings will cover a unique Table Shiatsu sequence developed by Dr. Phil Selinsky, that combines Shiatsu, neurollymphatic scrubbing, neurovascular balances and cross fiber friction. Table Shiatsu interfaces with the circuits that power the organs and glands by using deep stimulating acupressure. The session protocol effectively releases pain relief endorphins and systematically restores energy and function to the body. Anatomy

Friday mornings students will learn Touch for Health protocols and direct application to a variety of clinical patholgies from participating students, guests and instructor case studies. Touch for Health illuminates the interelationships between the muscles, organs, glands and meridians. The approach lets you hone right in on the source of the problem and make corrections in a matter of minutes or even seconds, that can completely correct a debilitating body issue. Touch for Health is precise, quick and very specific.

Phil Selinsky, co-teacher, brings an extraordinary capacaity to address clinical pathology from a holistic perspective as a naturopath and holistic health practitioner. Common pathologies the course will address include: hiatal hernia, fibromyalsia, carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic fatigue, muscle imbalances, etc, etc. To learn more about Phil's work and what is possible with this approach click on the link to my online column at the Santa Barbara  Independent: http://www.independent.com/news/2011/mar/26/hiatal-hernia/
