Watertown Wants YOU!
Aerial view of our growing fields and sales yard in Watertown taken earlier this spring.
Planters' Choice Watertown
Have you been to 496 Bunker Hill Road in Watertown lately? If not, don't wait!  There are bigger blocks and bigger sizes of sought after material - especially convenient if you're job is north of Rt 84. Take a look at the expanded yard and broader palette of fresh nursery stock. Our increased sales staff is there to help you select and load in a timely fashion.
And if you've never been, it's time to take a look! The majority of our perennials are propagated there -  but don't wait until you have a large perennial job to buy for; there's a wide selection of ornamental and shade trees, specimens, evergreens and shrubs, too. Not to mention the fertilizer and grass seed selections you rely on.

Directions to our Watertown Yard:
From I-84 East or West: Take Exit 17 and head North on Route 63. Approximately 3.1 miles to McDonald's, take the first left after McDonald's onto Bunker Hill Rd. Go approx. 1/4 mile to #496. The nursery is on the right.
Staff Picks!                                      Carl is a fan of Oakleaf Hydrangea
Hydrangea quercifolia - Oakleaf Hydrangea
Hydrangea quercifolia

This is Carl's first season with us as Watertown's Yard Manager. He comes from a family of gardeners, and has gardened his whole life.

"I really like the three-to-four season interest of Hydrangea quercifolia. The emerging leaves are cool, they have big showy blooms in summer and outstanding fall color. I have one in my garden at home that blends in well with naturalized plantings. It's got great foliage! Even while not in bloom it's a neat shrub!"

Thanks Carl!
It's perfect for part shade to shady sites - read more about them here.
